LE CAVE DEL TIMO SELVATICO

Set amongst the limestone landscapes of southeastern Sicily, our wedding will take place at Le Cave, a remarkable former LIMESTONE quarry near the historic town of Noto.

Far removed from a traditional wedding setting, the quarry is a place of raw stone, monumental proportions and natural beauty. Its sculptural walls and open sky create a setting that feels both ancient and entirely unexpected.

It's a little unconventional, a little dramatic, and exactly the kind of place we imagined bringing everyone together.

We can't wait to celebrate with you here, surrounded by the warmth, food, music and unmistakable character of Sicily.

NOTO

A little further south, on Sicily's southeastern coast, you'll find Noto.

Known for its extraordinary Baroque architecture, honey-coloured limestone buildings and long, unhurried evenings, Noto is one of the island's most beautiful towns.

Spend the morning wandering its historic streets, stop for a granita or espresso, and find yourself somewhere for a long lunch that inevitably turns into aperitivo.

Beyond the town, there's an entirely different side of Sicily to explore — quiet beaches, nature reserves, vineyards, fishing villages and some of the most beautiful coastline on the island.

There's plenty to discover, but absolutely no need to rush.

Highlights include:

  • Head to Ortigia for the morning market

  • swimming and relaxing at Calamosche Beach

  • trail Cavagrande del Cassibile for the more adventurous, dramatic limestone canyons and natural freshwater pools

Dining

One of the many reasons we fell in love with Sicily is the food.

Expect long lunches, exceptional local produce, seafood, pasta, granita and an aperitivo that has a habit of becoming dinner.

Noto and the surrounding towns have no shortage of beautiful places to eat and drink, from relaxed neighbourhood trattorias to some of Sicily's most celebrated restaurants.
