Need to know:What is the best airport to fly into?
The closest airport is Catania Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), approximately 1 hour and 15–30 minutes by car from Noto.
Palermo Falcone–Borsellino Airport (PMO) is another option, approximately 3.5–4.5 hours from Noto by car. It may be worth considering if you're planning a longer Sicilian road trip or prefer an alternative arrival airport.
Do I need a visa to travel to Italy?
Guests travelling on Australian, British or US passports generally do not require a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period in the Schengen Area.
However, the European Union is introducing a new travel authorisation system called ETIAS, which is expected to apply to travellers from all three countries by September 2027.
Once introduced, eligible travellers will need to complete a simple online application before departure. The authorisation will cost €20 per adult, with exemptions for travellers under 18 or over 70.
Your passport should also be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area and have been issued within the last ten years.
As requirements may change before our wedding, we recommend checking the official EU website before travelling.

How do I get to Noto?
Noto is approximately 1 hour and 15–30 minutes by car from Catania Airport.
Hiring a car is the easiest way to explore southeastern Sicily, particularly if you're staying in a countryside villa or planning to visit nearby beaches and towns.
Private airport transfers are also available, and we'll share recommendations closer to the wedding.
If you're staying in Noto's historic centre, many restaurants, cafés and shops are within walking distance, so a car isn't necessarily essential for your entire stay.
Noto and its surrounding countryside offer a beautiful selection of boutique hotels, traditional guesthouses, private villas and Airbnbs.
We recommend staying in Noto's historic centre if you'd like to be within walking distance of restaurants, bars and cafés.
For families and larger groups, the surrounding countryside offers some wonderful private properties, many with pools.

Where should we stay?
Our wedding will take place on Monday, 20 September 2027.
We recommend arriving at least a day or two beforehand to settle in and enjoy Sicily.
We're also planning celebrations either side of the wedding, so we'd love you to stay a little longer if your travels allow.
If you have the time, southeastern Sicily is well worth exploring, with beautiful beaches, vineyards, historic towns and plenty of incredible food.

Expect daytime temperatures around 24–30°C with cooler evenings. The sea is still perfect for swimming..
You are welcome to bring little ones to our welcome gathering SATURDAY, but MONDAY wedding day will be an adults only celebration 💖 We appreciate your understanding.

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be fully present.
Our professional photographer will capture everything—photos will be shared after the wedding.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Yes! We’re planning a few optional events, including a welcome gathering ON SATURDAY 18th September and a recovery day TUESDAy 21ST September.
